The classic living room drama gets upended, spun around in circles, and tossed in the lap of Will Eno, dubbed by the New York Times as “a Samuel Beckett for the Jon Stewart generation. The Pulitzer Prize finalist’s absurd comedy explores family dynamics, the effects of cruelty, and the inevitability of change, with his trademark wit and vaudevillian wordplay. Eno received the 2014 Obie Award for Playwriting for The Open House, which also won the 2014 Lucille Lortel Award for Outstanding Play.
